This 2 hour, free, breastfeeding class is for parents who want a bit more information about breastfeeding their baby, regardless of what number baby this is for you.Date: Friday 13 June 2025
Time: 9.30am - 11,30am
Location: Mercy Hospital for Women,
Studley Road, Heidelberg
Class will cover information such as :
- How does breastfeeding work
- What are the benefits for mum and baby
- How does my body make milk
- How important are support people when breastfeeding
- Some challenges when breastfeeding
Ticket includes attendance by birthing parent + 1 support person.
** Please note: if you have already booked & paid for a series of Parent Education classes - you don't need to attend this class. Breastfeeding is covered to the same detail in the classes you will attend.
This class is only for families booked to birth their baby at Mercy Hospital for Women, Heidelberg.
