Yoga for Anxiety - 6 week course in Secret Harbour

Anxiety …. worry, fear, panic, shortness of breath, headache, racing heart & confusion- sound familiar?If you identify with ANY of these symptoms of anxiety and/or depression, then this 6-week course will teach you practical skills to help reduce symptoms before they develop.
In a safe and nurturing environment learn this specialized style of yoga to:
• Reduce worry, fear, panic, racing heart and headache
• Tune into the body and recognize anxiety symptoms before they develop
• Learn postures that balance and calm the nervous system, supporting emotional self-regulation
• Learn how to activate the para sympathetic nervous system - which cues the body for rest and relaxation
Ideal if the thought of a regular yoga class is overwhelming or a trigger for anxiety.
You are in safe hands with Jo O'Donnell - Jo is a qualified yoga therapist.
Course runs for one hour a week from 6pm to 7pm every Tuesday evening for 6 weeks. Starts Tuesday October 22nd and finishes Tuesday December 3rd.
