Join in the fun of getting there and back on the train. Newcastle and Maitland train travellers will start 2.00 pm and finish 8.00 pm. Dungog train travellers start 4.00 pm and finish 6.20 pm.
An informal, collaborative and participatory event combining improv theatre and bush dance. You don't need any experience or prior knowledge of improv theatre or bush dancing:
- The improv workshop will be guided by the Newcastle Improv Theatre crew - everyone can participate in spontaneous fun - expect lots of laughs
- Dances are easy, and will be explained. You don't even have to know any dance steps! You do not need a partner- meet people there.
- A live and fully acoustic bush band will play for the dances, made up of young Hunter musos and mentors.
The program:
2pm Arrive/set up
2.30pm Improv theatre workshop
4pm Bush dance with live acoustic band
