Raising meat rabbits in your suburban backyard may seem difficult or even crazy however it has the potential to be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life, not just for the meat but for the connection to your food. It’s not even that hard.In this workshop run by a horticulturalist and a chef you will learn how to house, feed, breed, raise, and butcher meat rabbits in a small urban yard. The workshop will cover costs, pros and cons, common problems and practical considerations to raising your own food.
Hosted in the inner west of Sydney.
Warning! This workshop will have animal butchery and is for mature grown ups. Under 18’s can attend with adult supervision. If you are against meat consumption then please refrain from attending.
