Experience the healing power of horses in the Helping Hooves Half-Day Veterans Program, a ground-based, trauma-informed wellbeing program for current and former ADF members.Set in a peaceful natural environment, this unique experience uses Equine Assisted Learning to explore emotional regulation, build self-awareness, and reconnect with the body and mind through safe, non-riding interactions with horses.
No prior horse experience is needed—just a willingness to reflect and grow.
Led by a qualified practitioner and veteran, this small-group program offers a supportive, judgment-free space to slow down, reconnect, and gain insight into your emotional world. You’ll leave with practical tools to manage stress, greater clarity about your thoughts and feelings, and a renewed sense of calm, confidence, and direction.
