This May, the Cooktown Community Centre Domestic & Family Violence (DFV) Team invites you to take part in our Turn the Community Purple campaign in recognition of Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month.We encourage you (individual/business/organisation) to participate by:
✅ Wearing purple on 22nd May to show your support for DFV awareness.
✅ Decorating your workplace with purple accents to raise visibility.
✅ Starting conversations about DFV prevention and promoting respectful relationships.
Your involvement is important in sending a message of safety, respect, and support across our community. By participating, you’ll be helping to create an environment where everyone feels safe and empowered.
Please register to be included in our mini competition for best dressed individual/team/workplace!
