Master the art of tech-ing your act!Start with Strip Down the Tech (1 hr): Whether you're new to the stage or a seasoned pro, this session will help you master the art of a strong tech sheet. Learn to write clear, professional tech notes, choose lighting that elevates your act, and collaborate with techs for the best results. We’ll cover music editing basics, audio file tips, and how to design acts with tech in mind — so your performance always lands.
Then Tech Me Out (1 hour): A playful, hands-on session to test how lighting and music choices impact your look. Check out costume pieces, try effects, write tech notes, and get creative in a supportive space for performers and producers alike in a collaborative session with Producers.
Resources: All attendees get the Technically De Lightful Handbook included in the workshop cost with lighting colour theory, tech term cheat sheets, venue-specific guides (Nexus, Nineteen10, Goodwood), audio editing tips with free tools and more!
