Family-owned since 1405, brewing in the historic town of Bamberg, Germany. Schlenkerla are one of a couple of brewers who still smoke all their own malt. They use beechwood logs to make a spicy, fragrant smoked malt, which they brew into rich smoky beer. They lager in their 600-year-old rock cellar under the brewery.
