Managing dry conditions leading into winter
Many of us are feeling the effects of a long summer and a late autumn break leading to low feed reserves and slow pasture growth.
Fiona Baker from AGVIC will be talking to us on different options we can consider to help prepare us leading into winter. These include; working out livestock requirements, purchasing feed, selling some stock, applying fertiliser, using a stock containment area etc. All farmers are welcome to attend. Check in on your neighbor & invite them along to. Please bring a chair & warm clothing for meeting in a shed.
