Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) For Menopause Symptoms

This 4 week online course is for anyone experiencing menopause related symptoms who would like to explore a non hormonal approach to management. The focus is on equipping midlife women with strategies to regain control and embrace life during menopause and beyond.Helen Edwards is an experienced pelvic health physiotherapist, trained in CBT and currently undertaking a PhD on the impacts of menopause in the workplace.
Sessions include physiology of hot flushes, CBT, stress, lifestyle and triggers, managing hot flushes with CBT, managing night sweats and improving sleep as well as other menopause related symptoms.
The sessions will be held live on line for 2 hours, every 2 weeks.
After you sign up for this course you will be sent an email from Helen Edwards with a link to complete some pre course information including your details, and current symptoms. You will also be sent the log in information for the session.
