How to make adjustments for Specific Learning Disorders [SLD]In Australia, at least 2-3 students in each classroom will have a specific learning disorder (The Australian Psychology Society, 2021). You may notice with your own knowledge that a student may be struggling to read, or have messy handwriting, or perhaps finding the abundance of numbers on their worksheet overwhelming, and conclude that an SLD may be present.
Due to the inaccessibility of testing for many families, your professional judgement can be of great help in creating adjustments for your tier 2 students to help them succeed in your classroom.
This workshop will provide information about Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscal
