The Killer Queen Experience, formed in 2003, has evolved from a local Brisbane cover band into Australia’s premier tribute act and an international touring sensation. Lead singer John Blunt, a Freddie Mercury impersonator for over 20 years, reached a career highlight by meeting Queen in 2020.Originally “The King and Queen Show,” John’s journey began at Warner Bros. Movie World, where a Halloween gig in a Freddie costume launched his tribute career. He gained recognition in the ITV Channel 5 UK docudrama “The Freddie Mercury Story” and captivated 7 million viewers on the French show “Qui Sera Le Meilleur Sosie?”
The band has toured internationally, sharing stages with acts like Jeff Beck,Twisted Sister & Journey. Witness a 2-hour show packed with Queen's greatest hits. Following the 2018 film “Bohemian Rhapsody,” Killer Queen continues to celebrate Queen's legacy worldwide.
