Improv Musical Theatre Winter Workshop - Perth

Learn improvised singing from Australia's festival favourite, Impromptunes! In this full-day workshop, participants will learn the magic of making up songs and scenes on the spot through fun activities, games and exercises. Get a foundation in quick rhyming, song structures, and creating melodies and song lyrics that will stick!

The course is run by Impromptunes Company Director, Emmet Nichols, who, in addition to being one of Australia's top musical improvisers, is a qualified educator - so you are in safe hands! Born in Perth, Emmet started his impro journey with The Big Hoo Haa! before finding a passion for improvised musical theatre and founding Impromptunes in Melbourne in 2013. Emmet strives to create a safe, supportive learning space which fosters a sense of playfulness. His meticulous approach to songprov will support any musical improviser, experienced or brand new!
