Sunflower fields open to the public on select weekends in May/June, from 9am - sunset (around 5pm) each day.

For the admission price, you can pick as many sunflowers as you can carry! These sunflower fields were planted by our agricultural drones. Take a walk through our beautiful green barley crop into the sunflower fields. Polaris transport will be available for visitors requiring assistance. There are multiple paddocks in bloom- the first located next to the roadside.

Ticket prices:
Adult (aged 18 and over): $10
Child (aged between 6-17): $5
Children aged 5 and under have free admission.

You will be required to show your Trybooking ticket at the gate, or purchase tickets if you haven't already done so. Tickets will be available for purchase at the gate (EFTPOS available) but we recommend purchasing tickets online ahead of time.

OPENING HOURS: The fields are open from 9am - sunset (around 5pm) on select weekends in May/June. Further dates may be added depending on how long the sunflowers stay in bloom. Do not enter the property outside of the days/times we are open to the public.

IMPORTANT: Please ensure you are wearing suitable enclosed footwear to walk around the farm- and we recommend gumboots for the black soil if there has been rain. Parking is available in a paddock we will have open. Please do not enter other gated areas of the property or attempt to interact with livestock. Watch out for barbed wire fences. Please take your rubbish with you.

DIRECTIONS: The property address is 439 McNallys Road, Cambooya QLD 4358. There will be corflute signs from the New England Highway after the United fuel station to guide you. If using GPS, only use Google Maps. Apple Maps and car GPS will take you the wrong way to a no-through road.

You MUST access McNallys Road via Watts Siding Road from the Cambooya side. The entrance to the sunflower fields is at the intersection of these two roads. You cannot access McNallys Road from Greenmount Etonvale Road off the New England Hwy. When coming into Cambooya, stay on Cambooya Connection Road, turn left onto Cudmores Road, and then Watts Siding Road. You do not need to enter the actual Cambooya township.

FOOD AND DRINKS:

We hope you enjoy your visit! The Bull & Barley Inn in Cambooya does great lunch and dinner menus. There are public toilets in the Cambooya township and a general store.
