No Lights No Lycra is about dancing in a friendly, drug and alcohol free atmosphere. 
We dance in the dark - There is no teacher, no steps to learn, no technique, just a place to shake out the stresses of the week, let go of your inhibitions and completely be yourself.

There may be strong language in some songs we play so we recommend attendees are aged 16+

• Start time: 7.45pm lights go out (please arrive 10 mins beforehand to find a spot and get ready).
• What to bring: Bottle of water
• What to wear: Whatever clothes you're comfortable dancing in (tip: if you want to be really invisible, wear dark colours!)
• The room will be dark for the entire 50 mins. Loud music is played during the event. You are welcome to wear headphones and use fidget toys (as long as the ones used don't light up)
• No talking (the loud music will make this difficult, anyway) However, singing, clapping and whooping is definitely encouraged!
• Please cover/turn off the light on your Fitbit or watch - we want to keep the room as dark as possible
• Please silence/turn off your phone. Best to leave it in your bag so no light emits from your pocket
• Children under 18 yrs must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
