2025 Basketry - Making Earrings
About
In this workshop you will learn how to use blanket stitch, wrapping stitch or spiral stitch to make earrings.This workshop is suitable for those with some experience in coiling with at least one of the stitch styles.
Topics covered include:
• Introduction to earring materials
• How to start an earring coil
• Tips on colours and patterns
• How to smoothly finish the coil
• how to add the ear hardware
All materials will be provided, and participants can take home the work they have completed, and enough raffia to finish a pair of earrings.
Please bring your own chenille needle and scissors. A small pair of pliers would also come in handy.
