Broken Creek invites you on a walking concert through Banyule Forest, blending fiddle, banjo, guitar and voice with the forest’s natural soundtrack. This immersive event draws on the site’s layered histories, especially the story of Shinbone Alley, a shanty town that once stood on the riverbank.Through original compositions and reimagined folk songs, the duo explores how music can carry memory, honour land and spark connection. Developed as part of the Pump House Residency program, this performance encourages audiences to slow down, listen deeply and walk gently with stories of place - past and present - guiding the way.
