About
Come and learn some traditional Irish dancing with Tir an Oir Dancers. Scoil Rince Tir an Oir is a small and friendly dancing school based in the Belconnen area, one of the oldest schools in Canberra, originally called the Trenholme SchoolKathleen Beattie, after a successful dancing career and starting her family, joined the teaching team in 2023. At this workshop, Kathleen will teach you some traditional ceilis as well as some basic irish dance moves. It's sure to be a lot of fun!
This workshop is part of Seachtain de Chultúr na hÉireann (A Week of Irish Culture) hosted by Comhaltas Canberra and supported by the Government of Ireland Emigrant Support Program
