Greater Dandenong City Council and Monash Health are hosting two exciting Welcoming Clubs workshops!The first part of this workshop is an engaging, interactive session designed to empower participants. Participants will gain practical tools to actively welcome and include all community members, irrespective of background. The focus is on creating a sports community that mirrors the diversity of the broader community, fostering a sense of belonging for all.
The second part of this workshop will introduce clubs to the Upstander Framework, empowering the club community to respond and prevent discrimination and racism. Through an interactive, scenario-based session, club members will acquire practical strategies, gaining the confidence to take effective action in promoting inclusion and safety.
