YOU CHOOSE is Australia’s youth-led mission to change legacy teen social behavioural paradigms from the impulsivity and passivity of ‘luck’ to the empowerment and accountability of choice. Melissa and Peter McGuinness are the founders of YOU CHOOSE, and in 2012, their son Jordan caused the deaths of four innocent young people in a car crash in which he also died. He was speeding and under the influence of alcohol and marijuana.YOU CHOOSE has since developed as an educational program that is engaged by schools, councils, police, and community organisations around Australia to uplift young people as makers and as social advocates of good choices.
Melissa encourages parents to attend this presentation with their teens, to strengthen the message that she sends.
