This course will enhance the professional development of nurses working in acute clinical settings who may face patients who show signs of significant clinical deterioration or require high acuity monitoring.For those who have attended the 1 day Recognising & Responding to Clinical Deterioration (not essential), this course builds on respiratory knowledge by incorporating ABG, CXR interpretation & NIV. It also expands on Cardiovascular knowledge by incorporating fluid resuscitation, blood products, simplifying pro/anticoagulants & management of Acute Coronary Syndromes.
Presented by: Simon Plapp - Education Consultant to various hospitals & has been Victoria’s Representative on the ARC & ACCCN
