Pianist/composer Louise Denson and multi-wind player Phil Bywater team up with a cooking rhythm section to present an exciting program of melodious and groovy tunes. Louise is well known on the Hobart jazz scene, leading her own groups and working with saxophonists Ken Schroder and Jesse Bowden, as well as samba drummer Carlos Ferreira, among others. Phil has recently returned to Hobart after many years on the Big Island. He is a powerful, expressive player with countless gigs and recordings to his credit. They will be joined by Hamish Houston (bs) and Tom Robb (dr) for an unforgettable evening of jazz!
