Create a timber pendant using traditional techniques.Join Indigenous Trawoolway artist Domnic White in a unique workshop exploring natural materials and indigenous thinking.
Kids will discover the value of often-overlooked materials as they learn to weave ideas and objects together.
Using a traditional Trawoolway technique, they'll create string from synthetic sinew and craft a unique pendant by shaping, sanding, and burnishing bush timber.
These free workshops are delivered in partnership with the Gippsland Art Gallery.
Workshop will be held in the Gallery's Art Activity Room - Level 2, Port of Sale
Participants need to be accompanied by an adult.
