About
Join us for an in-depth demonstration on crafting visual looks for both short-form and long-form projects. This session will highlight how establishing a creative direction before shooting can assist Directors of Photography (DOPs) in conveying the intended aesthetic early on.We'll demonstrate the process of creating looks using Baselight's Chromogen tool, loading them into ARRI Alexa cameras, and previewing them on set. The session will include a live loop demonstration: creating a look, exporting it, loading it into the camera, previewing through a split, and then bringing the footage back into the grading system to apply the look and determine its optimal placement in the final grade's order of operations.
FilmLight's Head of Training, Bob Chorley, will be joining us in person from London to host this demonstration. During the session, he will showcase the new features of the upcoming Baselight 7 release.
