Scotch College 1st XV Scrum Cap Awards

When a player starts for the first time as part of the starting 1st XV (as opposed to coming off the bench), they are awarded a Scotch Rugby 1st XV Cap.This cap is a long-standing tradition, recognising the achievement of earning a starting place in the 1st XV. It is worn with pride on game days with academic uniform when arriving to a game and when running onto the field with 1st XV playing kit.
Players may receive their caps at different points during the season, depending on when they make their starting debut.
Caps are custom-made in the traditional style, featuring the Scotch Rugby crest and the words 1st XV.

The cost of production is $70, and we kindly ask you to contribute this amount via the Scrum Club to cover the cost of production.
