Love mushrooms but nervous about picking the wrong one?Come join me — Natasha from Tash Can Cook — for a beginner-friendly Mushroom Identification & Foraging Workshop in Gippsland!
We’ll kick off with an educational 1.5-hour indoor presentation covering mushroom biology, how to confidently ID edible (and inedible!) local species, and what to watch for when foraging safely. Expect slides, stories, and fun facts that’ll stick like spores!
During the presentation, participants can enjoy a light charcuterie board featuring my special mushroom pâté recipe—so come hungry for both food and knowledge!
Then we’ll head out for a relaxed bushwalk to see what wild fungi we can find. This isn’t just a class — it’s an adventure, grounded in mycological science and respect for nature.
