Are you considering a career in surgery? Wondering what it’s like to be a trainee surgeon, or how to get onto training? 🔪🩸🩺💉If so, come along to our Sutures and Surgical Futures evening! UWASS is excited to be hosting this event, where you will hear from consultant and trainee surgeons about the process of entry into surgical training, and some tips and tricks for selection, research and what you can do as a medical student/junior doctor to build your CV. Our speakers will also cover what life is like in their surgical fields, including the pros and cons to help you decide what you may want to pursue! The evening will wind down with a chance to network with students and surgeons accompanied by FREE PIZZA and beverages. 🍕🥤
This event is ideal for penultimate and final year medical students, however all medical students from UWA, Curtin and Notre Dame are welcome to attend.
