DOM TURNER'S "FOLK BLUES HOLLER", FEATURING GENEVIEVE CHADWICK & SHANE PACEY:Dom Turner, Genevieve Chadwick & Shane Pacey will present a selection of traditional folk and blues songs and originals, in solo mode, and together as part of a classic folk-festival style ‘Round Robin’.
Dom Turner is best known as guitarist/vocalist, founding member of the multi-awarded Australian blues group, Backsliders, as well as for work with US artists like RL Boyce, Nikki Brown and Phil Wiggins.
Genevieve Chadwick is known for her powerful, soulful voice and spirit-lifting, kinetic guitar-work. She writes with directness of intent playing unadulterated roots rock with blues and Americana influences.
Shane Pacey is known for his lead roles in the legendary blues bands, The Bondi Cigars and The Foreday Riders. However, he also has a little-known deep love of British and Irish folk music, and is highly skilled in the fingerpicking guitar styles of these genres.
