Accidental Counsellor Course
About
This corporate course is run through Lifeline and is specifically designed for non-specialists, such as church and community volunteers, who may engage with people who have challenging behaviours or circumstances. It aims to generate awareness and understanding, and guidance in how to respond and how to keep one’s self safe.It includes 2 hours of e-learning to be completed prior to the event, then a 4-hour face-to-face session. The e-learning link will be emailed to you once you purchase a ticket.
We are holding this on Saturday, June 7, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Merthyr Road Uniting Church (52 Brunswick St, New Farm).
Morning tea is provided.
