On 29 April 2025, the Social Development Committee of the South Australian Parliament tabled its report following a 16 month Inquiry into the Potential for a Human Rights Act for South Australia.If you would like to find out more about this historic step forward on the journey towards better human rights protection in SA, please join the Rights Resource Network, the South Australian Council of Social Service and Australian Lawyers for Human Rights for this online lunchtime community briefing.
Our panel will break down and summarise the report, discuss the recommendations and outline what they mean for community members and organisations advocating for better human rights protections for the South Australian community.
