About
The Model of United Nations Assembly (MUNA) is organised by Rotary in Australia and enthusiastically supported by the United Nations.MUNA brings together together teams from local High Schools to debate resolutions similar to those debated in the actual United Nation. Teams represent a country and debate from that country's perspective.
The winners of this local event will be invited to attend the National MUNA event to be held at Old Parliament House in Canberra in August 2025.
There is limited seating in the Council Chamber where the event is being held. The event will also be be shown on closed circuit television in another room. Entry to the event is free, however purchasing a ticket gives you priority access to the Council Chamber as well as being provided with morning tea and lunch.
