2025 WA Open Chess Championship
The WA Chess Championship is CAWA's flagship event. Titles to be awarded are: 2025 WA Chess Champion, 2025 WA Women's Champion (female players), 2025 WA Seniors' Champion (players born in 1975 or earlier), and 2025 WA Reserves Champion. Prize money of at least $3,360 is on offer. All WA players must be current CAWA members to participate: CAWA membership for 2025 can be purchased at the tournament ($40 adult, $30 junior/student).
