Naatu Beat is rooted in Kuthu—the energetic street dance of Tamil Nadu. This class blends South Indian culture with global influences to create something unique. You won’t just learn Kuthu—you’ll also gain core foundations in timing, rhythm, and street styles like hip hop, popping, and locking. The best part? We do it all to Tamil music. If you’ve missed dancing to Tamil beats and want to learn or reconnect through movement, this is for you.
Led by Sudhesh Somu, who began dancing at age 9 and trained with legends like Raghava Lawrence, Vinu, and Prem Gopal, before expanding into global styles with Cuban dancer Yasim Coronado. His journey makes this class more than just dance—it’s a path to self-expression, wellness, and cultural connection.
