Our next BGS Business Breakfast on 16 June features guest speaker Joshua Ball (OB 2013), co-founder of Farmers Pick.

Farmers Pick offers a subscription-based service that delivers unconventional yet fresh produce directly to consumers. Joshua sought to bridge the gap between Australian farmers burdened with surplus produce and consumers open to embracing "perfectly imperfect" fruits and vegetables.

Farmers Pick also explored innovative funding avenues, opting for equity crowdfunding over traditional venture capital to involve the community directly in their mission.
