A collaborative course endorsed by the Australian Orthopaedic AssociationThe Fracture Management course covers the essentials of managing fractures in primary care and is designed for healthcare professionals working in ED, primary care, casting clinics and remote settings. The course covers anatomy, physiology, different types of fractures, splinting and casting. The course has an online component which is completed prior to attending the face-to-face day. This is accessed via the Health Education Collaborative. The face-to-face day is ALL practical, where you will practice various splinting and casting techniques.
