Nicaea 1700 Sunday 6th May 2025

2025 marks the 1700th anniversary of the First Ecumenical Council and the promulgation of the Nicene Creed. The council concluded in July 325.To celebrate this important occasion, the parish of All Saints Church East St Kilda will hold a service of Evensong (Vespers) at 5:00 pm Sunday 6th July.
Music will include the 'Credo' from Joseph Haydn's 'Nelson Mass'.
The Reverend Doctor Mike Bird, Deputy Principal and Lecturer in Theology at Ridley Theological College, will preach.
Refreshments will be served following the service.
For catering purposes please indicate your intention to attend.
