About
The Winter Solstice celebration is a cherished tradition that embraces the magic and beauty of the longest night of the year. It is a time when communities gather to honour the profound symbolism of darkness giving way to light, as the sun begins its gradual return, signalling the rebirth of nature and the promise of a new cycle. The secondary school’s Soup & Solstice event will offer our community a chance to come together and forge connections.A meal of soup and roll may be purchased for $5 per person. The soup flavours are: Roasted Vegetable (GF/vegan), Minestrone (vegan) and Lentil Dahl (vegan option - no yoghurt). Please indicate your preferred soup, that way we ensure we have enough on the night. Please bring your own mug (and soup, if you’d like one) for the soup.
We kindly request the support and involvement of parents and young people in the pack-up process after the event. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
