PubSing Voices For Reconciliation #3 - Solid Rock

Join us for our third PubSing for Reconciliation Week on Dja Dja Wurrung country, in Castlemaine. We will learn a special arrangement of Goanna's iconic 'Solid Rock' as part of the Voices for Reconciliation choirs project.
PubSing Voices for Reconciliation - Solid Rock
Saturday 7th June
7.30 - 9.30pm
Taproom - Walker St, Castlemaine
Everyone welcome.
First Nations folk are warmly encouraged to attend - free entry.
'Solid Rock', released by Goanna in 1982, was a call to action to the broader Australian community to understand the truth of our history and the importance of land rights. It became a classic Australian anthem, as relevant today as it was on its release.
PubSing Castlemaine and the Taproom are a proud allies of the local Djarra community. We pay our deepest respect to elders past and present, to emerging young Aboriginal leaders, and acknowledge that Dja Dja Wurrung sovereignty was never ceded.
