Be consumed in this immersive Afghan cultural experience taking in screened works of photographer Muzafar Ali, alongside live music, traditional Afghan food and refreshments. In terms of the artist, Muzafar Ali, he has won international recognition for his dramatic photographs of the beauty of his homeland, Afghanistan. His striking images of people and landscapes of some of the remotest parts of Afghanistan draw you in. All part of a journey of discovery. A former refugee, Muzafar’s creative practice and skill emerge from his passion for human rights, with life experience seeing his photography rich with empathy for the people whose lives he has captured in terms of photographs.Organised by Circle of Friends Australia Incorporated, a 100% volunteer run refugee support group in South Australia. www.cofa.org.au
