Acting audition preparation workshop for year 11 and older

This workshop focuses on helping students who wish to apply for acting and/or musical theatre tertiary courses soon. It will assist in getting students audition-ready and give them a chance to ask graduates questions directly about the courses and what to expect.The workshop will consist of two 3-hour blocks with two amazing, successful actors and performers who have trained at NIDA and WAAPA.
The three-hour blocks will be from 10am-1pm with one actor. and then 2-5pm with the other. They will consist of a 1-hour Q&A at the start and then be followed by monologue workshops in which the students will present one of their chosen audition pieces to get feedback on and to help them feel more confident in their auditions.
In total the students will perform two monologues, one per session.
Please note that this workshop is aimed at helping the students prepare to audition but has no correlation to the schools in which the actors have studied.
