Join us for a special afternoon at Woollahra Gallery at Redleaf to celebrate The Garden of Time, a Dutch–Australian group exhibition featuring six contemporary artists.The event includes a welcome by the Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and informal artist talks offering personal insights into the works on show. The Garden of Time brings together artists from the Netherlands and Australia—Sanne Bax, Daan den Houter, Anique Weve, Evelyn Malgil, Adam Norton, and Vivian Cooper Smith—whose practices span sculpture, painting, and photography. Curated by Samantha Ferris, the exhibition is inspired by J.G. Ballard’s evocative short story, exploring time, beauty, and transformation across cultures and landscapes.
This project is supported by the Mondriaan Stichting and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Australia.
