Medieval Workshop

This workshop, presented by Ruth Wilkinson, will explore the wonderful repertoire of the medieval period, particularly from the 14th century, a high point in musical achievement. Singers, recorder players, lutenists, viola da gamba players and players of other early instruments are very welcome, as well as players of modern instruments. Pitch will be A440.Ruth has a particular interest in the performance of medieval music and is a member of the highly acclaimed ensemble La Romanesca. She has taught early music for many years at the University of Melbourne.
The workshop will include a lecture by medieval musicologist and Associate Research Fellow at the University of New England, John Stinson.
Tickets are available for the full weekend, or for Saturday only, or for Sunday only. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are included.
