Parental intimate partner homicide has immense but under-recognised and under-studied impact on the children who are bereaved and the people around them. Our team is conducting participatory qualitative research to better understand children and caregivers’ needs and opportunities for support. This presentation will provide a brief overview of the international evidence base as well as preliminary insights from 70 in-depth interviews with (young) people with lived experience, caregivers and a range of professionals the UK, Ireland and Australia.
