Reiki Level 1 is the foundational step in the journey of Reiki healing, a gentle yet powerful Japanese energy healing technique that promotes balance, relaxation, and wellbeing. At its core, Reiki is about channelling universal life force energy — known in Japanese as Rei (spiritual wisdom) and Ki (life energy) — to support physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.Level 1 is about personal healing. It connects you to the energy of Reiki through a process known as an attunement, given by a Reiki Master. This attunement opens your energy channels, allowing you to become a conduit for Reiki energy.
