We are excited to be hosting this Winter Solstice.We love to gather with community in song and dance at this special time of year.
In the Andes this is considered the celestial new year, the darkest point of the year as we celebrate the coming of the new light. This can mean many things for different people however, we are inspired to create a space here on Wadandi Boodja for people to express and celebrate this moment together. The event aims to bring warmth, inspiration and peace to the beings that attend. Stoking the fires of the soul for the journey ahead.
So we have crafted a magical evening for all of us to enjoy together:
- Si Mullimby will open the evening with his profound and opening heart, singing workshop.
- Heart singing circle hosted by many musicians from the Margaret River community.
- Ecstatic dance held by Chakana Music (aka Laura Briones)
- Guided embodiment and illuminated art immersions by Miranda Plum.
Warm soup and warm chai will be available.
