Opening Night: 'Propagate/Germinate/Bloom' and 'Last Call'

About
Join us for a special night at 4A as we launch two exciting new exhibitions: Man&Wah: Propagate/Germinate/Bloom and Winnie Cheung’s Last Call at 4A LAB.
🪷 Man&Wah: Propagate/Germinate/Bloom
Experience a beautiful, sensory exhibition by Brisbane-based artist duo Man&Wah, 4A’s most anticipated show of 2025. Known for their dreamy floral imagery and cosmic storytelling, the twin artists transform the gallery with glowing neon lights, gentle soundscapes and nature-inspired works.
Wander through a space filled with luminous digital blooms, flowing projections and intimate artworks exploring nature, memory and migration. This exhibition brings together the personal and the universal. Slow down, take a breath, and enjoy a moment of reflection at 4A.
🎞️ Winnie Cheung: Last Call
Running alongside Propagate/Germinate/Bloom, 4A LAB presents Last Call, a dreamlike installation by New York-based filmmaker Winnie Cheung with collaborators Bethany Yeap, Yinuo Chen and Daniel Rosato. With mirrored projections, fabric vines, surreal lighting and Pepper’s Ghost illusions, the work invites quiet reflection on identity, trauma and our connection to the cosmos.
At its core is Cheung’s acclaimed short film Last Call, which premiered at SXSW 2025. Blending horror, intimacy and cultural symbolism, the film explores transformation, immigration and inner strength through a feminist lens.
Come celebrate the opening of two exhibitions with us. Meet the artists, take in the works, and enjoy a soulful night at the heart of Haymarket.
