MRIWA invites you to our monthly tech talks discussing the intricate processes and findings of our recently completed projects with a chance to question the researchers face to face.Supported by MRIWA under Project M0509a, researchers at the University of South Australia have developed an advanced prototype drill platform adapting Coiled Tubing drilling technology to meet the needs of Australia’s mineral exploration industry.
As part of a coordinated program of research delivered through the MinEx CRC, the team have validated the performance of their innovative drilling system to a reach of 500m, delivering low-cost, low-footprint operational performance tailored for the discovery and definition of mineral deposits, including brownfields, resource definition and greenfields drilling.
