This FREE event run by our friends at ozFish was driven by the kids of Vacy 🎣. Spend the day fishing on the river with friends and family, all the while raising awareness about this invasive species, helping to reduce their numbers, and testing the waters for a super-sized Barrington Rivers Carp Muster movement in 2026! 🌞🌊The prizes are EPIC!!! 🏆🎉 There is well over $1000 worth of fishing gear to be won!

3. Most caught by the same angler 🪣
Winners of each category will be per age bracket: up to 12 years, 13-17 years, and 18 years +
We'll meet at 9am at Vacy oval to confirm registration and do a quick safety briefing ⛑️. We'll then spend the day fishing either at Vacy or your favourite fishing hole, and return 3pm to measure up, announce the winners, have a sausage sizzle, make biodynamic fertilizer from the carp caught and play some fishy games! 👧👦
It'll be a bag of fun for the whole family!! 🥳
