Seven Conversations for Couples:
Conversation 1: Recognising Unhelpful Repetitive Dialogues
Have you ever felt stuck in the same argument with your partner unsure of how you got there? In this powerful session, you will learn to identify destructive communication loops, gain tools to interrupt them, and reconnect more authentically. Together, we will cultivate a rhythm of communication that feels safe and loving, laying the foundation of lasting change.
Conversation 2: Finding the ‘Raw Spots’
In this conversation, we will tend to the vulnerable moments that emerge during conflicts and feelings of disconnection. This dialogue helps you recognise your emotional 'raw spots,' which can trigger feelings of loneliness, panic, or rejection when you sense your partner isn’t meeting your needs for closeness or care. You will learn to identify your protective responses and constructive ways to communicate your emotional needs. Each time vulnerability is openly shared and met with compassion, partners can soothe each other’s emotional wounds and move away from destructive cycles, promoting a more secure and resilient connection.
Conversation 3: Revisiting a Rocky Moment
Every couple has moments of hurt or misunderstanding that linger beneath the surface. In this essential conversation, you will learn how to gently revisit these challenging memories—not to relive the pain, but to understand and heal from it. Discover how to turn these moments into pathways for empathy, connection, and emotional safety.
Conversation 4: Becoming Open & Responsive - The Hold Me Tight Conversation
In this essential session, you will learn to increase your emotional accessibility, responsiveness, and engagement, strengthening your emotional bond while navigating the risks of vulnerability. This conversation marks the beginning of a positive cycle of reaching for and responding to one another. These loving interactions will enhance your sense of security and trust, empowering you to tackle challenges as a united front.
Conversation 5: Forgiving Injuries
When trust is broken, it alters the way we connect with each other. This conversation offers a compassionate path toward forgiveness—not as a quick fix, but a meaningful, emotionally grounded process. You will learn how to address past injuries in a way that invites healing and brings you closer together, rather than pushing you apart. If you are carrying pain or resentment that dims the light in your relationship, this is your opportunity to begin anew—with openness, honesty, and hope.
Conversation 6: Bonding Through Touch and Intimacy
In this conversation, we will explore the dynamics of intimacy and how common misconceptions about sex and intimacy can hinder a fulfilling connection. We will explore how intimacy requires intention, communication, and emotional vulnerability. We will discuss the different types of intimacy - sealed-off, solace, and synchrony – and explore the importance of open, responsive interactions for a deeper experience.
Conversation 7: Keeping Your Love Alive
Do you miss the spark you once had with your partner or worry it might fade over time? This session will help you rediscover the connection that first brought you together and introduce powerful strategies to nurture and strengthen your relationship. Learn how small, intentional moments of closeness can keep your love not only alive—but growing, deepening, and thriving for the long haul.
