About
Phoebe Anderssen is a NSWIBA graduate, who was selected for the Youth America New York Grand Finals for 2017-2019. She won the inaugural Brisbane International Contemporary Dance Prix in 2018 which secured her place to study at the Palucca University of Dance Dresden, where she completed her a Bachelor of Arts in Dance.Phoebe was selected to represent Palucca University at the 2023 Prix de Lausanne’s "Partner School Choreographic Project" where she was a featured dancer in Goyo Montero's "Bold" during the 50th Anniversary "Gala of the Stars".
Phoebe debuted as a Soloist with Semperoper Ballet in Aaron Watkin's "Sleeping Beauty", which is the first time in history that such an honour was awarded to any Apprentice. Phoebe was immediately promoted to Soloist in her second year of professional work as she joined Wroclaw Opera Ballet in Poland. At the age of just 21 years old, she will debut in her first Principal role in Annabelle Lopez Ochoa's "Frida" in June.
